Named in honour of its venerable Scottish St. Andrews. St. Andrews 2000 is located in picturesque hilly countryside in the South Eastern Thai province of Rayong, just over 30 minutes drive from Pattaya. It is not a typ-o-par 74 due to an astounding length of 7777 yard, thanks to the two endlessly long par 6 holes. The two are the 4th & 13th, which weigh in at 855 & 857 yards. Desmond Muirhead created a full 18 hole, 74 par course featuring elevated tees & greens, tight landing zones, split elevation fairways, huge putting surfaces & two par 6's. The Course demands a combination of both power & accuracy, with the strategic positioning of hazards forcing the player to remain focused on each & every shot. The clubhouse has a spacious open aired lobby affording a beautiful panoramic view of the golf course. An excellent restaurant serves a wide choice of Asian & International favourites. There is a well stocked pro shop, complimentary lockers and showers are provided and the lobby has Wi-Fi internet access.
